And the road-posted stories of his often-soggy, frequently-lost derring-do, I think I will NOT roam the land and whatnot, but rathger, stay at home in my nice, comfy home (with air conditioning!) and continue to live out this life for a bit (with air conditioning!)

I don't like hot weather. And I have my Sleepnumber (R) bed dialed in to just where I like it.

And you can drink without someone pulling you over, right?

I drink WHILE pulling someone over. Then I make THEM drink, so they have nothing on me.

Then, I slap a temporary tatoo of a rose just above thier freshly-barbered snapper.

Well, thank God I got out of whatever boarder state you're stationed in before I got THAT treatment.

OMG, you think I'm some sort of border patrol guard or something.

NTTIAWWT, it's a fine profession and those are good men, and true, etc. etc......but no.

You were in Warshington, where I live and work! I would have told you to give me a call when you came thru but you & your confederates are like quasi-militiamen and I didn't want to wind up opening a case on myself & being "no-fly'd."

That's what I meant, him & sven.

I'm just joshin, I know they are actual militiamen.

I kid. I do envy surge for having the sand to go out & do his thing. Not a lot of people do that type of thing. And BTW Surge, Ft. Collins, CO is GORGEOUS and has a HUGE bio-research facility out there...I am sure you could find gainful employment w/them and live a very comfy life in the Loveland/Ft. Collins area. It's all jungled up with a college, too, so there would be teaching options even.

Not just semi. The air is so thin there, their ripe, firm bosoms seem to actually float, as if in defiance of gravity. Big vet college there, so lots of little hotboxes wandering around in scrubs, too.

the only issue would be a rodent problem- several years back, ALF did a "rat relaese"- the USDA had a bunch of super-rats, they were resistant to virtually ever commercial poison, etc., they were "researching." Those ALF dumbass broke in and "freed" them, allowing them to scamper off and breed with local rats. So now they are all a lot harder to kill.

See, that sounds like a Surge kind of thing, with biology and whatnot.

I'm hoping to never have to use my biology experience again. And rats? I'm like sugar to them!

Also, looks like most jobs I was glancing at would require relocation to the DC area. Bleh... I mean I'm sure it's a great area and all, but I really don't like big cities.

No, the DC area is akin to the 5th plane of hell. It's a horrendous stankhole, I would never move there either (which is why I'l NEVER be promoted, ever). I can't adequately describe it's abject hideousness.

Those guys who work in Ft. Collins at APHIS and USDA have a sweet deal. It's all high-tech and modern- they might even wear jumpsuits on some occasions.

And hot-and-cold running college chicks.
